Tributes pour in as Bollywood loses another one of its stars, Rishi Kapoor who passed away early morning on Thursday.

The news of his death was confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan, whose heartbreaking tweet has left fans aching:

“He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

From politicians to celebrities and sports personalities, everybody paid their last respects to Rishi Kapoor on social media and commended his passion for his work.

Meanwhile, Siddhant Jumde who is Senior Illustrator at India Today also shares few illustrations of King of charm, King of Romance, the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor.

From politicians to celebrities and sports personalities, everybody paid their last respects to Rishi Kapoor on social media and commended his passion for his work. In a career spanning over four decades, Rishi Kapoor has starred in memorable films including Kabhie Kabhie, Karz, Chandni and Amar Akbar Anthony. He was last seen in the web series The Body on Netflix.

Rishi Kapoor was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning, his brother Randhir Kapoor said. The senior actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and he returned to India from New York in September 2019 after his cancer treatment.

Rishi Kapoor is survived by his son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and wife Neetu Singh.
