A certificate of authenticity (COA) is a seal on a proprietary artwork, it works as an authentication for artwork done. The certificate is given to Artwork or posters of authenticity with signed and sealed by a reputable appraiser or auction house.
COAs are most common in the art world. COA goes through a detailed process of art like when and how it was produced, the names of people or companies involved in the artwork’s production, the work’s title, the art dimension, and the names of reference books, magazines, or similar resources that contain either specific or related information about either that work of art or the artist.
The COA should also state the qualifications and full contact information of the individual or entity that authored the certificate with his or her complete and current contact information. At the time of selling it needs Certificate of Authenticity and in that the package to be sent to the collector who has purchased the work. Painting Bazaar will provide you with a template to use, or you’re welcome to create your own. The template will be emailed to you within the same email as your shipping documents.
